Also never go by just the website of the college but try to visit the institute or college and talk to the students and listen to their experiences and opinions. Soak in the atmosphere of the place by visiting the library, lawns, gyms, canteens, etc. to get an idea. And never be brand conscious. A college that might be ranked very high for a particular stream of the subject might not be a good choice for your choice of stream. It is best to choose wisely and not to be disappointed later.
